In phonics, we have moved onto our next vowel - short "i". Today the students in 1C had lots of fun exploring short "i" in a number of ways. In Grade One we always aim to appeal to a variety of learning styles and we endeavour to incorporate a number of varied activities into our daily practice, including activities that speak to kinesthetic learners, activities that integrate technology into our learning and activities that also allow for paper and pencil learning to take place.
